Clean rooms and friendly staff, nice indoor pool. This is the hotel I recommend to clients when they come to town.
The hotel had a muggy smell to it as we walked down the hall. The hotel doesn't have any newer features like usb chargers or the touch keys which isn't a huge deal but gives a nice added bonus when they are there.
* muggy wet smell.
I was hopeful when I read the reviews. So we took a chance and booked the room. First when we arrived I found out there was no elevator. Please be aware of this if you are disabled. They quickly changed out my room to a first floor so not any points lost but feel I should mention it could have been an issue had they not had anymore rooms.
*We asked for a 9am wake up call and the call never came.
Clean room, which is always nice at hotels. Cold A/C and a friendly receptionist. Overall, quality stay.
* Breakfast was awful. Biscuit was dried out to the point it actually broke the plastic fork. Eggs were dried out. If you like oatmeal and cereal it is ok. Bacon was good but I like over cripsy bacon. I would have thought it's a typical cheaper hotel breakfast but they brag about best in town, nope Holiday Inn breakfast was far superior however it also cost a lot more.
Nice and clean, quite. Enjoyed the stay.
Overall it depends what you are looking for. Clean bed, clean room with slight smell and a comfortable bed then this could be an ok place to stay. We had AAA so for the price I might be willing to stay again, however if we have the extra money I'll stay at Holiday Inn. Don't depend on them to wake you up because wake up call never came.
The bed was comfortable and clean even though the room had that wet smell. Floor and bathroom also looked clean. Ac worked good.
I can't comment on the pool as we didn't use it.
First I'll start by saying we stay in hotels 3 to 4 times a month sometimes for 4 or 5 days at a time. We have stayed everywhere from the tiny motel in Campbell, mo to the Sheraton executive suite in Dallas, Tx.
Cons:
*no handicap accessibility to the second floor.
Place seemed clean. Nice pool, but hot tub didn't seem to have much power. The night of our check in, the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the next morning the breakfast was sad. I went and looked the breakfast options while my family was getting ready. When we went down to eat, most of the items were gone and the staff was not restocking anything, only removing the empty trays.
