The electric panel for my front gate (installed by Wiley) was struck by lightning in a recent storm, disabling the iron gate completely. It took two weeks for Wiley to return my call. When I finally did receive a call, Wiley indicated he would review the damage and call me back with an estimate I could submit to my insurance company, in order to move forward with repairs. This was two weeks ago and I still have not heard back from them.
In essence, my gate has been broken for a month now, and still no update or return phone call with an estimate on repair cost or time to fix the problem. In the past, I have used Wiley and have experienced long delays in service and response. Once the job is finally done, the work is good. But, good luck getting a response.
A year ago Wiley Fence put in a 16 ft wrought iron gate that was powdered coated. It wears beautifully and works like a charm. The work was prompt and completion was less than 2 days. Since having the automatic gate, there have beeen two attempted burgaries of farm equipment thwarted. It paid for itself!!!
