We have done business with Mike and Lora for several years after a recommendation from a friend from out of town who had broken down in West Plains and had used their shop for repairs. We have come to trust them completely for timely high quality work at fair prices. My wife is comfortable taking something to them alone which says a lot. It's rare for a woman to feel comfortable doing that with a auto repair shop these days. They stand behind their work exceptionally well. They are our go-to-place for car repair and advice. Time to put on your big boy pants and deal with a customer speaking up after not being listened to. There are reasons why instructions are given when appointments are made.

Last time we brought our vehicle to them my husband told them we needed it to be done by 3:30 because we only have one vehicle and I work out of town and would have to be picked up. It wasn't finished at 4:00 when I called to check and was told it would be two more hours. Not acceptable. So I told him they were done and not to do the alignment.
I call to make another appointment and am told to bring my car in. I make arrangements and they refuse to service my car because apparently I "gnawed him a good one" last time my car was there because they didn't listen to the instructions about being done.
DO NOT bring your vehicle here! My boyfriend and I brought his mustang into the shop because it was having issues, we weren’t sure what was wrong with it. But we did know it had a slight oil leak so we asked them to find the problem and to fix the leak. It ended up just needing a new spark plug. They replaced the spark plug and charged us $103 to do so.. Which is just ridiculous, but that isn’t even the worst part. They DID NOT fix the leak, they told us it wasn’t bad enough to worry about fixing. We took it home from the shop and then today my boyfriend got into it and the car is making this terrible noise..so we pop the hood and the boot had come loose and was just flopping around. We call mayfields and they say to bring it in so we do, they are going to charge us an estimated $125 to fix it, when they are the ones who made the mistake when putting the spark plugs and boot back on. We had called other auto places and they confirmed that the only way that it could have come loose is if the previous mechanic hadn’t put it back together properly.. When my boyfriend politely said that he thought we shouldn’t have to pay such a steep price for something that was their fault, we were told to come get our car and to never come back again and then hung up on. They were rude and unprofessional.. You couldn’t PAY me to take our car there again!
